Vision and Hearing Screening

The Boosters offers vision and hearing screening through the school for students who qualify. This is usually a one or two day event in cooperation with the school and medical professionals at the school. Parents are needed to help run this very busy event.

Chair Responsibilities

Assist the school nurse with monitoring and student check-in.  Testing day is usually in November with retest day in December.  There are two 2-hour morning shifts and a 1 hour after lunch shift.  Typically 6-8 volunteers are needed.  The chair works with the nurse to find out specific dates and volunteer needed, and recruits volunteers to cover the event.
