Senior Raider Recognition Night

The Senior Raider Recognition Night, held in late May, is a celebration of all Seniors and their contributions to Glenbard South during the past school year. Each senior in attendance will receive a certificate listing their academic awards and extracurriculars including athletics, clubs and activities. A slide show including photos and activities will be projected during the ceremony. The evening will also include the presenting of Departmental Awards.  The Boosters co-host this event with Glenbard South and are responsible for the reception preceding the ceremony.

Chair Responsibilities

Booster chairpersons of this event will be responsible for creating the invitations, monitoring RSVPs, ordering refreshments, decorating the Commons with flowers, balloons, etc. the evening of the event, and basic clean-up after the reception. Check Requests for any vendors used are given to Treasurer. A few volunteers are needed the evening of the event to help with set-up, refilling of food trays and clean-up. It is ideal if the chairpersons and volunteers for this event are NOT Senior parents. Additionally Chairpersons provide updates to Booster Board in the spring and keep paperwork organized in a folder.
