Concessions
Not only a service to busy families and students to have a meal but also show hospitality to guest schools at Glenbard South events. This is also a great fundraiser for Boosters!
This committee works best with a large network of volunteers. ALL families of athletes are expected to help with one shift during the sporting season. It not only helps the teams but benefits all programs at Glenbard South with the funds raised by this service.
Volunteer for one shift or several, and interact with students and socialize with other families.
Concession Coordinator
Oversees all areas of concessions. Works with purchasing coordinator for supplies, food, ice etc. Works with volunteer coordinator for each sport to verify coverage, including opening and closing. Requests or delegates request for cash box/bank, prepares deposits. Oversees and maintains both the indoor and outdoor concession stand.
Concessions Purchasing
Works closely with Concessions Coordinator. Responsible for shopping for concessions through various vendors. Help deliver, unpack, and set up concession stands as needed. Concessions Banker
Stop at concessions stands preferably after every event (except Football, which has its own banker.) Usually 1-3 times per week. Primarily means picking up the envelope for deposit, the hospitality tickets, the pizza invoices, and getting them to the Treasurer. Check the “seed” money has a sufficient amount of quarters and singles. If not, replenish before the next event. The amounts of the deposit, # of pizzas ordered and # of hospitality tickets gets recorded onto an Excel spreadsheet. At the end of each season (fall, winter and spring), an email gets sent to Tim Carlson requesting reimbursement of the hospitality ticket costs. Pick-ups from the concessions stands AND deliveries to the treasurer be made at least once a week.
Concessions Volunteer Coordinators

Drama Concessions
