Chair Responsibilities
This committee coordinates with the other D87 high schools to select the event dates and orchestrate community member involvement. The Committee Chair will also solicit for supplies and donations for the event, parent volunteers and help direct set-up and event management. Students are the main source of support for these events so they are heavily advertised through school announcements. It is a great opportunity to be in the school seeing our kids experiencing the benefits of volunteerism firsthand.
