The purpose of the GBS Boosters is to encourage and promote all extracurricular activities at Glenbard South. GBS Boosters supports music, arts, academics (scholarships), and after-school clubs in addition to athletics.
GBS Boosters raise money through membership fees, donations, concessions, Raider Wear sales, and social events throughout the year.
All GBS families, alumni, teachers, staff members, and members of the community are invited to become part of the Boosters.

Friday morning lights met Friday night lights when WGN’s Around Town crew stopped by Glenbard South!
Raider Nation showed up strong as the football team, flag football, cheer, dance, band, chorus, super fans, students, and staff brought ALL the energy to electrify the Raider gym. Don’t miss the feature - it’s Raider Pride at its best!

GBS Boosters needs over 30 committee members and HUNDREDS of volunteers to manage and participate in the numerous Boosters events and initiatives taking place throughout the year.
Immediate Volunteer Needs
Last year, over $55,000 was raised and donated to Glenbard South student programs thanks to the involvement and generosity of Glenbard South families and community members.

Concessions are our main source of revenue, funding Glenbard South’s Five A’s: Academics, Arts, Activities/Clubs, Athletics, and Aesthetics/Admin. Every dollar raised benefits all students by supporting academic programs, arts, extracurriculars, athletics, and maintaining a vibrant school environment.

Curious about how the Boosters make it all happen?
This is your chance to get involved! Shadowing opportunities are now open for multiple roles across the board. Whether you're passionate about organizing events, managing communications, or handling finances, there’s a spot for you to learn and contribute. Step behind the scenes, get a feel for how things work, and see if a leadership role might be a good fit for you next year!

Gratitude Day
We’re looking for volunteers to help make Gratitude Day a success! This is a meaningful event where our students get to show their appreciation by writing letters of gratitude to school faculty, staff, or anyone who has made a positive impact in their lives. As a volunteer, you’ll help set up tables in the Commons with all the writing supplies, “preview” student notes to ensure appropriateness, serve pizza, and assist with cleanup.
We’re also collecting donations of water to pair with the pizza, and we need one volunteer to pick up the pizza. This is a fun, rewarding way to help students express their thanks and support a culture of kindness at our school.
Let’s come together to make this Gratitude Day one our students and staff will remember!
