Winter Parents Social

The South Parent Winter Social is also known as the Chili Chill Out and typically happens in the first weekend of February. This event serves two purposes: A chance for parents to get together during the cold months and a chance to raise funds for Post Prom. This is a well attended night, that offers chili tasting, trivia and a silent auction and is always a blast!

Winners of the cook-off get bragging rights for an entire year.

Up to 12 chefs are needed to provide a crock pot of chili for the event.  Proceeds from the Winter Social go directly to support Booster’s Post Prom event, which is held after Prom for all Juniors and Seniors.  Donations are needed for appetizers and desserts.   This is a very popular event for “parents only” and offers a fun opportunity to mingle and meet other parents of Glenbard South students.
